As history suggests, Saddam was a man of rebellion and hatred:
'A few weeks after becoming president of Iraq in 1979, Saddam Hussein executed some of his closest friends and fellow members of the ruling Baath Party. Videoapes of the meeting at which the 'traitors' were named show Hussein reading heir names from a list, pausing to puff on a cigar while members of his audience squirmed in their seats. Once their names were called, the supposed conspirators were marched off and killed. Saddam Hussein had begun his pattern of rule by force.'
Another example of his bizarre behavior:
Refused to comply with the Gulf War agreements, refusing to permit UN inspectors access to his munitions plants and warehouses, threatened to shoot down the U-2 spyplanes of the US. Had abnormal hatred for the Jews, Jesus Christ, His followers, and anyone else who would stand in the way of his goal to conquer the world. This might best be understood by demonic possession - a virtual foretaste of the Antichrist to follow, who will be indwelt by Satan himself.
The point i'm illustrating here is simple yet contemptible: It is absolutely possible for a dictator to gather support through his religious background and belief, the utmost outcome being the head of UN himself. This political system ingrained in our modern society provides the stage for any charismatic being to be launched into glamor and power. What I am telling you is, such a thing can happen. Take heed. xD
