What are the last days?

What are the last days? There're many phrases which pertain to the 'end times'. They include the latter days, the last times, the latter years, the time of the end. In Matthew 24:1-8, the disciples asked Jesus,' What will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?' This clearly refers to the end of the Tribulation when Christ returns physically to the earth to set up his kingdom when you read the whole passage in context.

Prophecy Scholar Thomas Ice said,' The word 'end' is restricted and precisely defined when it is modified by 'day', 'week', 'year', etc. So it is in the Bible, that 'end times' may refer to the end of the current church age or it may refer to other times.'For example, in 1 John 2:18, the Holy spirit said,'God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in THESE LAST DAYS spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds. This evidently refers to the days of His Son.

1 John 2:18 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.

In this verse, the apostle Paul speaks of 'the last hour'. He is referring here to the church age, the age of Grace. He's also warning that even in this church age there would be 'many antichrists...by which we know that it is the last hour'. He was right: For two thousand years the church age has not been without false christs and antichrists.

To sum up what I said, the 'last days', 'end times', 'latter days', or even 'afterward' usually refer to any point from just prior to the Rapture to the Glorious Appearing(second coming of Christ).'The last days', 'the time of the end' and 'the end of the age' are terms leading up to the seven-year tribulation when this age comes to the end.

Four Pivotal Events of History

Each of the most significant events in history has marked the end of an age. Three have past : Creation, the Flood, and the first coming of Christ. Each of these left a significant impact on the generations that followed. The fourth and final event is the second coming of Christ, which is predicted in the Word of God.

Abundance of Prophecy in the Scriptures

What is prophecy? Prophecy is the prediction of future events. Now why did God dedicate almost 30 percent of the Scriptures to prophecy? Unmistakably God considers prophecy an important subject. As well as teaching us about the future, it affirms us, believers in Christ, that God keeps His word. I hope that after reading my posts, you'll all be enlightened and experience the love of God.

God's righteousness and love await the believer!

Hello readers! Welcome to my blog. As you've probably seen my headline there, it says are we nearing the end times. Now I'm going to veer off this point and talk about something else more intriguing and interesting.

'For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

'For God so loved the world'. Yes! God loves the world. He loves every single inhabitant of Earth, including you. Now you may ask,'How do I know he loves me?' Very simple. Let me tell you something. This is what the Bible says. Once upon a time, a man named Jesus, the Son of God, a perfect and sinless man, died on the cross for you.'Why is that significant?' Not only did he die on the cross for your sins, he took your beating. He was whipped and whipped and whipped till all the flesh and blood ooozed from his body. He suffered to take away your sins. 'Why does he need to do that since he's God?He can do anything he wants.'NO! He is a just God! And he punishes sin.

'So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Isaiah 54:9b
On that cross, his anger was totally vented on his son, Jesus Christ.

'that whoever believes in him shall not perish and have eternal life'.Yes. Eternal life is what everyone wants. What is the simple act that allows you to possess this priviledge? It is by believing in the finished work of Christ on the Cross!! That he bled and suffered for your sins, so that you may become righteous! That he took your sins so that you may have his righteousness!

'My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?' cried Jesus on the Cross. He cried my God My God on the Cross so that we may call God ' Father,Father'.

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

Do you want to be the children of God and inherit the righteousness of God?Do you want to have peace in your heart and mind and in whatever you do? If you do, please just say this simple prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I confess that I have sinned against heaven and in your sight and need forgiveness. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins, according to the Scriptures, and I thank you for raising Him from the dead. Today I ask Him to come into my heart to cleanse me from my sin and become my Lord and Savior. I give myself to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!

Congratulation Child of God! You are now a beloved in God's sight. You're no longer ordinary as God sees you perfect and blameless in His son! If you want to know more about Jesus and what rich blessings you can receive from the knowledge of him, tag and I'll tell you more!
